Mr. Qian is both qualified to practice law in mainland China and New York. Mr. Qian holds a Juris Doctor degree from a reputable US law school and is proficient in English. Mr. Qian has practised in top domestic law firms and international law firms from 2013 to 2018 before he went inhouse with a focus on private and venture capital investment in and outside China. While at law firms, Mr. Qian has extensive experiences on matters relating to foreign direct investments into China (including setting up subsidiary or joint ventures, purchasing equity interests in Chinese companies), drafting various commercial contracts and documents, general corporate and compliance issues (corporate governance, labor, corruption investigation, etc.). Mr. Qian has also led numerous legal due diligence on companies of different business sectors.
