About Me

Maarten came to China in 1999, and for 20 years has supported international companies on legal issues in China. In 2010 Maarten founded R&P China Lawyers, a full-service law firm in Shanghai that with 50 lawyers has grown to become one of China's premium legal service providers to foreign business in China. Maarten is original from the Netherlands, and speaks fluent Chinese. He is also an arbitrator to the SHIAC, and on a supervisor of approx 30 foreign-invested companies in China.
